Hey SocketPup, to set a custom number of articles per page, you'll want to adjust the settings in your category blog menu item or in the Global Articles settings, not in the administration page. As for the pagination symbols missing, it seems like Font Awesome isn't connected to your template properly. Check if your template is using the correct version of Font Awesome (version 6 for Joomla 5) and make sure it's integrated correctly.
