Thanks, I had already seen this and tried this. I was forgotten to mention this.
But I made a stupid mistake! As said this was on old project and the database does have two 'sets' of tables with different prefix (one with prefix xxxxx_ and one with yyyyy_) .
I was not aware of this and didn't scroll down to the last table!
So I add super to the xxxx_users table, which was not the active set of tables...
I can now log in again!
